Europe Chief Mindfulness Officer at Dentons since August 2019, partner since 2008, also co-manages the Tax Advisory Team at the Dentons Warsaw office.

 

Initiator and co-creator of the innovative NextMind training program for lawyers and professionals from the legal industry based on mindfulness meditation. NextMind supports participants in the development of soft skills necessary in today’s legal world, including effective and efficient management of emotions and stress. The program is based on the latest achievements of neuroscience, cognitive sciences and psychology. It combines elements of education, practice and open discussion around experiences resulting from everyday functioning in the office environment, as well as practicing mindfulness meditation.
Currently, Karina develops and implements the mindfulness project in Dentons offices in Europe, as well as globally on the whole company.

 

In addition to strictly legal education (Master of Law, 1998 and tax advisor, 2003), Karina is a graduate of the Mindfulness Mindful Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course in the United States. She is currently studying MBCT at the University of Oxford. She also completed numerous teacher training courses at the Oxford Mindfulness Center, among others “Mindfulness in the Workplace” and “Mindfulness – Finding Peace in a Frantic World”.
