Marcin Zręda

From an early age technology passionate, at the age of 14 member of Polish demoscene as the creator of computer games and magazines (zines). During studies he worked as a programmer and architect, co-creating desktop tools and online applications. Co-author of many interesting technological ideas at the Tik-Soft company, where he worked on satisfying IT needs in the financial and accounting industry.
In Wolters Kluwer for 13 years, travelled a long and interesting way. Started from being a tester of programs for lawyers and notaries, where he got to know the processes and requirements of these industries. Then he headed the testing department, managed IT projects, and was the head of the IT department dealing with advanced software solutions. The experience gained in managing people and analytical knowledge resulted in the creation and management of the analysis and quality assurance department.
After years of managing matters closely related to IT, he also managed the sales department of lawyers’ software, where he gained knowledge and contacts with clients. Currently, he is the head of the strategy of Wolters Kluwer Polska on the market of law firms and companies, usually speaks: “Once I tried to answer YES, when Business were asking. Now I’m the Business and I’m trying to ask IT to get a positive answer.” Organizer of Global Legal Hackathon 2017 in Poland. Member of the LegalTechPolska jury. Author of many opinions and a member of many discussions on the development of legal technology.
Founder and owner of two startups, one concerns urban games, and the other an intelligent approach to home garden management. For years, a board member of the Polish Blues Association, the organizer of over 50 concerts – Warsaw Blues Night series with many world-class blues stars. In his spare time, guitarist, vocalist and harmonica player, a passionate sailor (a yacht helmsman’s patent) and a mountain tourist, organizer of many cruises on the seas and lakes.
